Vet trip for Ariel

After almost 2 weeks of feeling bad, then feeling better off and on, I found out Daniel and I both have strep and mono. Yuck!! So we are still moving slow, but slowing gaining our strength back. A big thanks to my family, both at home and extended for helping out.
Balto's ears are up now!! He is sooo big and chunky!! We took Ariel to the vet today. She weighed 20 lbs! She was suppose to go to her new home, but I was concerned about her size and a few other "different" things about her. The vet did not know why she sometimes would vomit after eating, but that she was a healthy little girl. She was a little thin, but not enough to concern him. So she got a healthy report, but the new family was not comfortable with the news so decided she was not the dog for them I have no problem with the decision they made. I am glad that was decided before she went to them. It makes it so much easier on the pup and the people. I will be marking down the price on her because of her size and the occasional vomiting. Anyone interested will have to prove to me that they are truly interested in her and will take care of her and not just because she is a "cheaper" puppy.

Up and running again!

We are trying to get up and running again...both me and the computer!! First the hard drive crashed and the mother board went bad at the same time. This took over a week to get it fixed. Meanwhile, Daniel and I both came down with a flu-like bug. Ugh!! So, I still don't have a lot of energy...but the computer is working great and I am functioning again, though somewhat slowly. :)
Hopefully, over the next two or three days, I will be able to update pics of the puppies, give them the shots they should have already had and get them wormed. They are so cute at this stage.
Ariel is smaller. She stays on the skinnier side, reguardless of what she eats, but she makes up for it in personality. She is so alert and eager to play! She is the first to bark and let us know she doesn't recognize a person or sound. Her ears are already up and it makes her look so perky and playful!
Balto's ears are almost up, but not quite. The tip ends still flop over. Another week, maybe. He is playful and bold and loves to explore. They both eat up the attention and enjoy playing with big sister, Faye.
